How do I care for my new resin wall art?

Resin wall art can be dusted with a feather duster or dry, soft cloth. Never use a harsh or scratchy cloth to clean your art piece as it will scratch the resin.
If using a wet cloth, do not use detergents - simply use water.

How do I care for my new resin homeware piece?

Our resin homeware pieces are perfect for hosting parties! There are just a few things to remember:

1. When placing food on your piece, ensure anything that needs to be cut (cheeses etc) sits on the wooden side of the serving platter. Resin is not scratch resistant, and easily scratches when a knife is used on the surface.

2. Clean your serving platter with hot, soapy water and a soft cloth before first use. Although your serving platter is cleaned and oiled before it is shipped, it is possible the board may have encountered other substances during the postage travel - therefore it is important to wash before using.

3. Do not use any harsh chemicals or products on the resin or wood materials - dishwashing liquid and a soft cloth with warm, lightly soapy water is best.

4. Wooden surfaces will also scratch, the degree to which depends on the wood. Once your board has been worn down with scratches - it is possible to bring it back to life! Because the wood is untreated, it is easy to maintain. Simply use a light sandpaper to sand back the wood, being careful not to scratch the resin. Then lightly oil the wooden part of the serving platter with your favourite food safe oil (our favourite is olive oil).

How do I care for my new Funky Bitz piece?

As I leave the Funky Bitz section of my website up to our flowing creative juices, there is no one piece that will ever be the same - meaning care instructions will differ between pieces.

You will receive care instructions with your piece when it arrives in the mail. Any particularly hard to care for pieces will have a disclaimer within the item listing on my website. Please contact me if you are unsure of how to care for your piece or have lost your care instructions.
